Exciting News from Our Civic Engagement Class!
I just wrapped up teaching Civic Engagement & Advocacy: A Guide to Active Citizenship through Virginia Beach City Public Schools’ Adult Learning Program — and what an incredible experience it was! 🙌
Our students shared that they had never been in a class like this before — full of energy, ideas, and a real passion for making a difference. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they even asked me to come back with more sessions because there’s so much more they want to learn!
Thanks to their amazing feedback, I’ve been invited back for the Spring semester — and the city has doubled my teaching time! 🎉 I’m thrilled to continue this journey, helping more adults become active, informed citizens.
